Sitting to meditate. The timer is set—”the Western 15″. Back straight, shoulders back, but not too far back; head titled, eyes shut, and breathe. Attention focused on the point between the eyebrows; feel the slight tingling, as if an army of ants are circling there. Breathe: in—out—in—out—in—out. The mind thinks, because that’s what the mind does. Effort is spent trying to realise that thoughts are not personal. Eyes open, seemingly involuntarily—11 minutes left. Back straight, shoulders back, but not too far back; head titled, eyes shut, breathe; focus, the point between the eyebrows; wait, whilst trying to remember there’s nothing to wait for, nor anything worth remembering.
Thank you on the in;
I am grateful on the out—
